I love my 2015 Jaguar XF but it’s developed this intermittent electrical issue that’s driving me nuts. Every now and then, the infotainment screen goes black, the AC fan speed changes on its own, and the dash lights flicker. It only happens maybe once a week and then it’s fine after I restart the car. I’ve taken it to a general mechanic who said they couldn’t find anything wrong because the issue wasn’t happening while they had it. I need someone who understands Jaguar electronics specifically, not just a generic scan tool. A friend recommended the Professional Jaguar Repair Service By 800Sayara Dubai and said they have diagnostic equipment for these British cars. Has anyone used them for intermittent electrical problems? I’m worried it could be a failing battery or alternator, but those check out fine according to my multimeter. Could it be a bad ground or a module issue? Also how do I find a shop that will actually keep the car long enough to replicate the problem? Most places want me to drop it off and pick it up the same day, but that’s not long enough to catch the glitch. Any advice from other Jaguar owners who’ve chased electrical ghosts would be amazing.
